Dr. Jefferson is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. She specializes in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Trans Oral Robotic Surgery including Surgical Management of Adult Oropharyngeal & Supraglottic Tumors and for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Research interests

The focus of Dr. Jefferson's research is head and neck cancers including patient outcomes, quality of life, and health care disparities among head and neck cancer patients.

Dr. Jefferson has several peer-reviewed publications and has presented at numerous national meetings including American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the National Medical Association.
